HISTORY: Grown in Southern Chile, this wild rose referred to as Rosa Mosqueta (Rosa Canina) has pink flowers, and as the petals drop the plant develops a colorful orange seed pod (Rose hips) from which the oil is derived. Rosa Mosqueta oil’s unique properties were discovered through a research project at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacology at the University of Concepcion in Chile. During the 2 year study it was found that RMSO (Rosa Mosqueta Seed Oil) produced an effective regenerative action on the skin.
